SACRED HEART PARISH

Welcome

Welcome to the Sacred Heart Parish, the international English-speaking Catholic community in Amman, Jordan.

We aim to welcome all who come to share our faith and participate in our liturgies, from all nationalities and linguistic backgrounds. The Sacred Heart Parish is a personal non-territorial parish with no church building of its own.

• Sunday Mass in English is celebrated at St. Mary of Nazareth Church, in Sweifieh, (Vigil Mass on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m.) and at the Jesuit Center, in Jabal Hussein (Sundays at 6:00 p.m.).

• On weekdays, Mass is celebrated at the Jesuit Center (Monday to Saturday at 8:30 a.m.).

The Sacred Heart Parish is a ministry of the Jesuits in Jordan and an entity of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem (Vicariate of Jordan).
